If you're into that sort of music, Kila tickles the same sort of brain cells for me. I listen to music via headphones much of the day and I probably listen to one of the three Kila albums I have once every two or three days. Every time one of their songs start I switch into "Oh yeah!" mode.

This Georgia-based quartet's story is depressingly familiar enough. After scoring with the sassy cynicism of its indie single, Money Changes Everything, the Brains signed to Mercury for an uncompromising debut album that sank without a trace, for reasons not too hard to fathom.

This album is just pure fun. It is peppy third wave ska. The only down side to it is that it is a little bit sexist. The Porkers are one of the great undiscovered fun bands. If you are looking for old school ska or Two-Tone era ska, this is not the CD for you/5(3).
